This new flower holder is the result of the installation with historical tulips that I created for the exhibition 'In Volle Bloei' at the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp. My installation was a dialogue with work by Michaël Borremans and Rachel Ruysch. Borremans' work 'A Shoe and a Brick' inspired me to create this new design, which simultaneously references the 17th-century 'flower bricks'. A small vase that is ideal for placing flowers centrally on a beautiful dinner table.
